Another fabulous days riding.. loved dropping in behind Paul the tour guide as we descending at top speed !
It’s the biggie tomorrow.. Mont Ventoux.. you can just see it in the distance.. the bike’s ready not sure I am !
Paul sent us this weather report as we were trying to enjoy our evening meal..
“At the top of Ventoux it is expected to be ZERO degrees, and on the descent, it will be chillier as you cut through the air - maybe -4 to -5 degreees. From Chalet Reynard upwards, expect it to be 5 degrees and lower.
Long gloves will be essential and particularly so descending when you’ll need to be on the brakes quite a bit. So we don’t want frozen hands which will hinder your ability to brake.”
